The game was split three ways among developer Rareware (now owned by Microsoft), Nintendo and Activision who owned the James Bond license. GoldenEye 007 jumped to the Wii and never strayed from Nintendo due to complications. The original Nintendo 64 game holds a tender spot in gamer’s hearts. The new launch of the game, formerly exclusive to the Wii, will have the visual upgrade previously hinted at as well as several new features. Earlier this week Santa Monica, California based game publisher Activision announced that fans of GoldenEye 007:Reloaded will soon be able to play the game on Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 consoles.
